In the Central Coast of Peru, in the city of Lima, district of Punta Hermosa, by the Km 45 of the South Panamericana highway.

Reef-break, right, long and formed with tubular section. Can reach the 3 meters high. Waves for beginners and advanced surfers.

South fluent, from light to strong. Cold water, breaks all the year.

Moderate, moist, cold with light rains or warm, accord to the season.

Access :
In the Km 35 of the South Panamericana take the detour of the road in your right (this is the old highway), follow until the first gas station and turn to the right by the affirmed road until the parking lot. For all vehicles.

CHICAMA LA LIBERTAD - PERU

Ubicación:
Costa norte del Perú, en el Dpto. de La Libertad. A la altura del Km 614 de la carretera Panamericana Norte.

Tipo de ola:
Point-break, izquierda, considerada la ola más larga del mundo. Tubular, 4 secciones, alcanza los 2 mts. Fuerte viento en contra (offshore).

Características del mar:
Agua regularmente fría. Temperatura promedio: entre 22.1°C y 17.7°C.
Corriente fuerte, las ondulaciones del sur y del oeste son las indicadas. Olas todo el año, en invierno con más frecuencia.

Clima:
Cálido y primaveral. Temperatura promedio: entre 28°C y 15°C. Zona de vientos fuertes.

Vía terrestre:
En el Km 614 de la Panamericana Norte se encuentra la localidad de Paiján, desde donde parte una pista hacia el Puerto Chicama conocido también como Puerto Malabrigo. Acceso para todo tipo de vehículo. También en ómnibus interprovincial.
Vía aérea:
Vuelos a la ciudad de Trujillo.
